Calling All Artisans & Vendors

Calling All Artisans: Be a Vendor at Taste of Africa 2025

Showcase Your Craft. Celebrate Culture. Build Community.

Are you an artisan, maker, or small business owner whose work is rooted in culture, wellness, or community impact? We’re inviting you to be part of something powerful.

AfriThrive’s Taste of Africa is happening on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the stunning BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown, MD — and the AfriThrive Marketplace is now accepting vendor applications.

What Is Taste of Africa?

Taste of Africa is our signature fundraising celebration — a curated evening of food, culture, storytelling, and healing. The event brings together chefs, performers, community leaders, and YOU — the creatives and entrepreneurs who make our communities vibrant.

This year’s theme is Taste. Thrive. Heal. and the AfriThrive Marketplace will showcase artisan vendors whose work uplifts heritage, wellness, and sustainable living.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re curating a unique vendor experience that reflects the heart and soul of African culture and creativity. If you create:

  • Handmade goods (textiles, jewelry, home décor)

  • Wellness products (natural skincare, herbal blends, teas)

  • Books, art, or crafts inspired by African heritage

  • Sustainable products rooted in healing or ancestral practices

We want to hear from you.

Why Join Us?

As a vendor, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Reach a diverse, community-minded audience

  • Sell your products in a lively, celebratory environment

  • Connect with fellow artisans, chefs, and cultural organizations

  • Align with AfriThrive’s mission of equity, health, and heritage

Each vendor will receive a 6-foot table, two chairs, and promotion via AfriThrive’s event marketing channels. Space is limited and curated to ensure quality and alignment.
